With a lounge currently used as a second bedroom, a rear extension is proposed to extend the combined living and kitchen space. An open-plan living, dining and kitchen space will provide a more comfortable living environment while maintaining the required two bedrooms.

As a house split into 2 flats, permitted development rights no longer apply. A full application was submitted to seek permission to extend the property. Keeping within the parameters of permitted development will mitigate any suggestion that the proposal will impact neighbouring amenities and ensure a straightforward planning process.
